Overview
Acetylcholine (Ach)is the main neurotransmitter of the parasympathetic nervous system. It mainly works on muscarinic receptors (M1-5) in parasympathetic organs and nicotinic receptors (Nm and Nn) on autonomic ganglia and the neuromuscular junction.
