Is Hyperexcision relevant for Kenyan Medical Students Only?
While the website has been developed and guided by the medical curriculum in Kenya, we have many users from all over the world who use our platform to revise medicine at the medical school level. This resource is helpful whether you’re brushing up on basics or gearing up for your final exam. If you are from a different country that has its own set of guidelines, please reference your own guidelines while revising, just to be sure!
Is Hyperexcision useful for pre-clinical students?
Yes! We have included questions and notes covering pre-clinical topics, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and pathology. Although we haven’t focused much on pre-clinical topics, we still want every student to have access to these core materials.
Is Hyperexcision suitable for Clinical Medicine?
Absolutely! Our questions cover relevant pre-clinical and clinical topics that are useful for your exams and rotations.
How do I get a free trial?
We do not currently offer a traditional free trial. Instead, we provide a free membership tier called Hyperexcision Explorer, which gives you access to selected notes as well as weekly and monthly questions at no cost. This allows you to experience the platform and try out our questions before deciding whether to purchase a paid membership. What payment method can I use to pay?
We accept payments via Mobile Money and debit or credit cards. Are the Hyperexcision memberships recurring or auto-renewing?
How can I get discounts or discount codes, and how do I use them?
Hyperexcision offers discount codes that you can manually apply at checkout to get savings on your membership. To use a code, enter it exactly as provided in the discount field before completing your purchase. Only one code can be applied per transaction. How can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your Hyperexcision membership at any time by logging into your account, going to Account (My account), scrolling to Memberships, and selecting Cancel. Once cancelled, you’ll lose access to member-only content. If you experience any issues with cancellation, please contact us for assistance.
Can I get a refund on my Hyperexcision membership?
Hyperexcision payments are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds for unused subscription periods or incomplete access to content. You may cancel your membership at any time by going to Account and scrolling to My Memberships. Your access will end, and no payment will be returned.
Do I lose my Explorer access when I upgrade to Scholar?
No. Since Explorer is free and permanent, you keep it regardless of what plan you are on. Upgrading to Scholar unlocks questions on top of the notes. If your Scholar membership expires, you retain your free Explorer membership and access to the notes.
What happens when my Scholar membership expires?
Your account returns to Explorer, which you already have and which is always free. You won’t lose your account or your progress. You’ll lose access to the questions until you choose to renew.

If you’re being logged out of your Hyperexcision account repeatedly, even during a session, it’s usually because the subscription is being accessed on more than one device or by another person at the same time. Hyperexcision accounts are for individual use only, and the system automatically logs you out to protect your progress and learning data. To fix this, avoid simultaneous logins on multiple devices, don’t share your account details, and change your password if you suspect someone else may be using your account.
What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
If you’ve forgotten your password, go to the login page and click “Lost your password?”, then enter the email address linked to your Hyperexcision account. You’ll receive an email with instructions to reset your password. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
Is there a Hyperexcision app that I can install on my phone or laptop?
Yes! Hyperexcision is available as an installable Progressive Web App (PWA), but it’s not a conventional app from the App Store or Play Store. You can install it directly from your browser on mobile or desktop.
